Shockwave Metalworking Technologies BV (SMT) is specialised in the vacuum explosive cladding (welding) of two or more dissimilar metals. The production of the cladplates is performed in different vacuum chambers. SMT is ISO 9002 certified by Lloyd's.
Our customers are found all over the world in different applications i.e. shipbuilding, (petro) chemical industry, thermal industry, nuclear industry, electrical industry. Examples: Al/Steel transition joints, tube sheets, shell plates, bi-metal contacts.
